ساختار زمان حال استمراری یا present continuous در انگلیسی از فعل be و حالت اصلی فعل با ing درست می شود.
am / is / are + verb (ing)
Example
I am listening to pop music.
She is driving on the street.
He‘s playing football.
They are living at A4 street.
We‘re drinking some juice.
حالت سوالی حال استمراری
برای سوالی کردن present continuous کافی است افعال be را قبل از فاعل بگذاریم.
Example
Is she driving on the street? Yes, she is. No, she isn’t.
Are they living in Australia? Yes, they are. No, they aren’t.
When is he going at cafe?
What are you doing here?
منفی کردن حال استمراری
برای منفی کردن حال استمرای یا present continuous در انگلیسی کافی است be را با اضافه کردن not منفی کنیم.
Example
I am not speaking Spanish. (I’m not speaking Spanish)
We are not staying here. (We aren’t staying here)
He is not wearing jeans. (He isn’t wearing jeans)
چه زمانی از حال استمراری استفاده می کنیم؟ (کاربرد present continuous )
1. فعالیت هایی که زمانی که صحبت می کنیم در حال انجام هستند
Example
I’m talking on the phone. Be quiet, please.
My father is just leaving here. He will be home in 30 minuets.
2. برنامه های آینده و توافقات
Example
They are going to new school next term.
What is he doing tomorrow?
3. اتفاقاتی که از قبل و بعد از یک زمان مشخص اتفاق می افتد
Example
At one o’clock we are usually having lunch.
When I get home the children are sleeping.
4.اتفاقاتی که موقتی هستند
Example
Tom is at university. He’s studying math.
I’m working in florist for the next three months.
5. اتفاقاتی که جدید هستند و با قبل در تضاد هستند
Example
These days people are using whatsapp instead of sending messages.
What sort of music are they listening to?
6. چیزهایی رشد می کنند، توسعه میبابند و یا به سرعت تغییر می کنند
Example
The children are growing quickly.
My English is improving.
The clement is changing rapidly.
7. اتفاقاتی که بارها و بارها می افتد
Example
It’s always raining in London.
They are always arguing.
